Physicians Formula Products - 3 Hits & 1 Miss!

Are you tired of me talking about the new Physicians Formula products yet? Well too bad!!  =P

Here are my thoughts on the new Physicians Formula Products that I've purchased recently.

Hit #1.

 Bronze Booster Glow Boosting Season to Season Bronzer in Medium to Dark

 I know several people thought that this would be a miss, but honestly I love being able to pick my color based on the season or my mood. The colors are all very pretty and just the slightest hint of shimmer (which may annoy some). 

Swatches - Summer, Spring, Fall, & Summer

I know these colors don't look too pretty here, but it's beautiful on your skin.

PH Matchmaker PH Powered Blush in Rose

Note: the shimmer that appears in this picture does not appear on your cheeks, see picture below.

This comes with a mirror that lights up so you call apply your blush anywhere at any time of day.

This blush is supposed to adjust to your skin and I will say that I really do think that it does that. This color first appears to be a very light pink when I first apply, but within a few seconds the color deepens and I get this beautiful flushed color. I tried my best to capture the change, but it just happened so quickly!

PH Matchmaker PH Powered Lip Gloss in Pink

I LOVE this lip gloss, this is my favorite purchase of the bunch! The gloss stays on for about 2 hours and it's not too sticky, but the best part is that it leaves your lips with a beautiful pink stain even after the lip gloss fades. 

It even comes with a mirror and a light! Love it!! I actually find both features VERY convenient. 

Swatch on my lips. Such a pretty color!! This product also adjusts to your skin, but the change just happened too quickly for me to capture.

Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Lipstick

 

I will admit it, I'm a sucker for cute packaging!! Sadly this product is no bueno!!!

The heart has you fooled into thinking you will LOVE this product, but once you apply this to your lips it makes your lips look like a chalky mess!! The swatch just looks so pretty on my hand, too bad it doesn't appear this way on your lips. I'm so disappointed in this product.

I was so excited when I found out that there was finally going to be a BB cream available in drugstores. Finally no more ordering online!!

I bought this in the color medium/deep.

My hand does look quite glowy after I rubbed this in.

So how well will this work on my face?

Bare clean face, please note that I am having a GREAT skin day here.

After

My face looks more even, but WAY too shiny!!

I set it with some powder and this really helps!!

Pros

•  You can buy this at your local drugstore.
• Provides nice, natural coverage. 
• This is a great product for those with very dry skin, this is super moisturizing.
• I didn't break out while using this.

Cons

• Pricey for a drugstore product, I paid around $13.00 for this.
• This only comes in 2 colors - light/medium & medium/deep.
• The product can feel very heavy on your skin. I had to blot and powder several times a day when I used this.
• The squeeze tube applicator can get VERY messy.
• If you are looking to conceal major skin problems, this is not the product for you.

Overall
I wouldn't recommend this product to many people, only those with very dry skin. This product just doesn't impress me, it reminds me of a heavy tinted moisturizer. I will continue to order my Missha BB cream online.
