To Tone or Not to Tone ??11:41 AM
When I was a teenager I used to LOVE toner..seeing all the "dirt" on the cotton ball made me feel so clean..and feeling the sting always made me feel like the product was working. The older I got though I realized that the toners I was using were just making my skin more irritated and that they were stripping away my face's natural oils. Lately though I've been feeling like my skin has been missing a glow..I've been looking very dull. I decided that maybe it was time for me to try a new product to my new face routine..after searching the aisles high and low at CVS I came across Phisoderm Nurturing Toner and decided to give it a try.
Phisoderm Nurturing Toner $6.99
What the package says: "pHisoderm® Nurturing Toner gently removes excess makeup, oil and dirt residue, while hydrating skin with important nutrients. This pH balanced formula leaves your complexion soft, smooth and balanced without tightness. The soothing hyaluronic acid complex enhances your skin's natural ability to retain moisture, so that skin is hydrated, refreshed and ultra clean. "
Pros: This is a great toner! No alcohol (so no sting) and my face actually feels moisturized not greasy after using it. My face feels really clean after using and not in that tight way. My skin is glowing now!
Cons: None so far!
Overall: I will definitely keep buying this product! I've been using this product in the mornings after rinsing my face with water and then just using the toner, after the gym (since I wash my face before the gym I don't want to dry my skin too much by washing AGAIN after the gym), and before bed and I don't even need to moisturize before going to bed when I use this.
