Don't be a Shy Girl, buy some Labello!!

10:18 AM

I've gotten a few request for a swatch of my shy girl lippie from MAC. I wasn't able to get a good picture of it on my lips, so I swatched it on my hand. I put it next to a swatch of Cute-Ster from the HK collection so you could have something to compare it to.

Cute-Ster is on the left. Shy Girl is on the right. The colors are very similar, in my opinion. Cute-Ster is sheer, while Shy Girl comes off as more a frosty color. I love them both!

As I mentioned in this post the lovely Glow sent me some Labello lippies, out of the 4 she sent me I've opened 2 so far. I've been using them religiously ever since!!! Here are the two I've tried so far.

Labello Star Fruits Strawberry

-Fruity shiny colour, it looks like you were sipping on some red Kool Aid!

-Uv protection contains almond oil, jojoba oil and shea butter.

Milk and Honey

-Contains milk extract and caring honey extract to protect your lips from drying out.

-This is one is my favorite right now, the scent is absolutely yummy!

The texture on both of these is like rosebud salve once it's on your lips. Since this is in a tube form there isn't any of the stickiness associated with Rosebud Salve. The only downfall to these is that they don't last very long, so you will find yourself reapplying quite often. Or maybe they do last long, but because they taste so yummy I keep licking it off..?? haha!

That last line reminded me of this commercial.

Anyone else remember seeing this on TV during Saturday morning cartoons..?? haha!!

Have a great weekend!!

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
