Product Review
Biore Skin Prevention Clean Things Up Nourishing Gel Cleanser
Picture taken from Biore website.

The Skin Preservation line is geared towards those that are "too old for acne and too young for wrinkles".
I've been eyeing this cleanser for a few weeks now. I'm not sure about you ladies, but I love Biore-the warming mask is the ONLY exception.

The Claim:
In-between clean – not harsh, not oily.
You want to get rid of dirt, oil, and make-up effectively, but without that overly scrubbed feeling. Clean Things Up™ cleanser doesn't disturb your skin's natural moisture balances, and leaves it feeling nourished, clean, and beautiful.

The nourishing extra: Vitamin E.
Collapsible vitamin E beads are part of the special formula that lifts and removes impurities, including the most stubborn make-up.
Botanamide™ Technology
Oil-free
Dermatologist tested
Hypo-allergenic
Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

First Reaction
I didn't read the claim on the bottle before I used it so my first thought was 'these little scrubbie things aren't doing a damn thing for exfoliation'. Opps!! That's not their purpose!!! LOL Once I discovered that they were there to moisturize I can say I really like this product!! I haven't had one pimple in the three weeks I've been using this!

Pros
-Removes all of your makeup!

Tip: I wash my face twice in a row with this. A small amount each time, the first wash will barely have any foam, it's removing the makeup and dirt from your face. The second wash refreshes your skin.

-Face is left feeling clean, but not tight even with this cold weather

-Affordable $9

-Available at most drugstores.

-Fresh scent.

Cons
-This may be too gentle for very oily skin once summer comes around.

Overall

I believe this gel cleanser really has helped balance my skin. Right before I was using this my cheeks were oil slicks and my forehead and chin were flake central. Now my skin is even and I haven't reached for a blot tissue or extra moisturizer once. I will definitely be buying this again.
*I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone that has very sensitive skin, the Vitamin E beads may irritate your skin.

4.5 out of 5.

  1. Ooooh I want to try this cleanser! Even though I really liked the Shiseido Perfect Whip cleanser I bought from you, at times I felt it was too harsh. Thanks for the review!
