What I've Read This Week

9:06 AM

Note: I was supposed to post this on Friday, but I forgot.

I began reading The Hunger Game trilogy on Monday & I was hooked by page 20. This is a series about a time where society is controlled by the capitol & every year 2 children from each district (there are 12) are chosen to compete in a 'fight to the death' match called the hunger games. Told from the point of view of Katniss (a contender in the hunger games); this series is about survival, love, and learning who you can really trust.

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
I read this on Monday.

Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins
I read this on Tuesday.

Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins
I read this on Wednesday.

All of the books in this series are about 400 pages, but I just couldn't put them down!! I had to know what happened next. I am a little disappointed that I didn't make this series last longer, but now I'm looking forward to the movie release in March 2012.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
