Tummy Tuesday - 16 Weeks + Gender Reveal

10:36 AM

How far along?  16 weeks! I will be 17 weeks tomorrow. The baby is the size of an avocado/open hand.

Total weight gain/measurements: Oddly enough I think I've lost 1-2 lbs, but my stomach has popped!! I'm not really sure how that works. I have been making an effort to eat better so maybe that has something to do with it.

Maternity clothes: Yes! I've been searching high and low for things. I thought I could get away with some of my regular clothes for longer, but it's so hot here & all I want is to be comfortable.

Stretch marks: None. I just started using Palmer's Stretch Mark cream to help with the itchy stomach.

Sleep: I do manage to sleep, but I wake up several times because of aches and pains. I need to buy a pregnancy pillow already!

Best moment this week: Finding out the gender of our baby!!!!

Miss anything? Sleeping comfortably & nonswollen feet.

Movement: I can feel plenty of movement, especially when I'm laying down. So far the hubby hasn't been able to feel it yet.

Food cravings: Fruit!! Grapes, pineapples, watermelon, & strawberries.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing this week.

Gender:  It's a GIRL!!!!!! I swore it was a boy, but we're having a princess!! I was very surprised, but in a good way!  :)

Symptoms: Bloating, stuffy nose, and swollen feet. The swollen feet can be because it's been 90+ degrees lately and I've had a lot of running around to do.

Belly button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!!! Hubby & I have already bought WAY too many things for our princess.

Looking forward to: The next ultrasound so we can see our princess again!

I think being together and buy thing for your baby sounds like one of the most wonderfull during the pregnancy, ok also seeing the belly grow.

  3. yay congrats! yay for team pink, we are also having a girl, but for our case everyone was guessing it was a girl since the start lol! I even did a gender poll on my blog before we did the ultrasound and girls won by a majority :p wow you felt your movement really early! I wasn't able to feel anything until past 19 weeks, I was so anxious haha!
