My Nail Care Essentials9:54 AM
For the past few years I have been fortunate enough to have long nails that are quite strong. Due to the pregnancy I have become lazy in cutting them as often as I normally do and that has gotten them a bit of attention. In other words, this pregnancy has not made my nails change, they've been this way for a while.
Here are a few items I consider my nail care essentials.
OPI Nail Envy -Yes, this is outrageously expensive, but my nails rarely break or tear when I use this. I know the price is high ($17-$20), but I HIGHLY recommend this for those that have a problem growing out their nails.
Rainbow Light Prenatal One - I have been taking prenatal vitamins since I was about 20 for my hair and nails. These vitamins are my favorite and I really have seen a difference in how healthy my nails look and feel when I use this. Note: Please be sure to ask your doctor before using this.
Sephora Express Nail Polish Remover - I never thought a 'high end' nail polish remover would make much of a difference, but it does! This nail polish remover takes off all of my nail polish with just one cotton ball (glitter being the exception), and it doesn't dry out my nails or cuticles. Another plus is that the smell is a lot lighter than regular acetone.

Here are a few nail care extras I love too.
Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover - This is something I rarely use, but every time I do I remember why I love it. This allows me to push back my cuticles quickly without any pain, cutting, and minimal mess.
5 Second Nail Glue - For the rare occassions my nails do break I love to use this nail glue to repair it. I apply 1-2 drops of this glue on the tear, allow it to dry for 30 seconds, and then apply OPI Nail Envy over it and boom nail fixed! This repair usually last 4-5 days.
